  • Buying "annuity leads" for appointments
  • Product pitching annuities like every "Tom, Dick and Harry"
  • Emotional selling will NOT work in the annuity market, like in the life insurance market.
  • Allowing an outside firm to control the solicitation process.
  • Paying $.60 to $.66 cents a solicitation.
  • Mixing non-annuity subjects with an annuity solicitation or presentation.
